This fit just fine on my 2008 Ford Escape.

It does not come with any hitch pins. You will need both sized hitch pins to use this. One for the 1 1/4 hitch connection to the vehicle and one for the 2 inch connection.\

The hitch has held up well and it looks great. I purchased Curt products after a good deal of research and I have been very happy with my decision thus far. I have only had the opportunity to tow with it once, but that was a 1000 mile haul.
I plan on leaving the hitch on year round and having it pull double duty as a bumper guard. I live in the city and I am forced to park on the street. I have neighbor(s) who insists on hitting my truck every time they park near me (previously causing damage to my vehicle). This hitch has stopped any new dents/scratches form appearing on my bumper; it also reveals the wrongdoers by leaving an ugly scar on the vehicle(s) that insist on running into it. Now all I need to do is find one for the front bumper.
